Navratri Celebrations
This year Navratri was celebrated in a festive mood under the mahajanship of Shri Rajendra Gangaram Karekar of Madkai, Goa. His family members also joined and supported him in every rites and rituals of Navratri puja of ten days including Dussera.The festival commenced on 30th of September with Ghat Sthapana and ended cheerfully on 9th October with exchange of gold in form of Apta leaves. Makarastova began on fourth of October until eighth prior to Dussera during which kirtans of H.B.P. Jogbua enlightened many. Samradhdhna was a routine factor where volunteers showed their excellence in catering and hospitality. Women with traditional costumes and attires involved themselves to seek blessings from Godess Shree Mahamaya Kalika apart from Bhaktas all over Goa as well as Maharashtra and Karnataka.
Shri Rajendra, Utsav Mahajan says, “ten days’ stay here at Kasarpal for Navratri had a tremendous change in my metabolism leading to spiritualism. These blessed pure changes in me are going to last long and will not fade any time of my life.” He wishes to place on record to thank each and everyone who has participated in this festival particularly Kalika Devasthan committee for their energetic support. He also wishes to share with Devi Bhaktas the acquired bliss. May Shree Mahamaya kalika bless us in every Endeavour.
